My family has been a line of shrine and temple carpenters for generations.
Triggered by the Great East Japan Earthquake, I grew anxious about seismic safety and rebuilt "the main house my late grandfather had built."
The rebuilt house was new, but it felt like the memories and attachment were gone.
My regret — "was there really no way to keep the house standing?" —
is the starting point of Kanameishi Co., Ltd.
Today, seismic reinforcement work in Japan has become extremely expensive due to a shortage of craftsmen and architects.
"I don't want people to give up on protecting their lives just because of the cost."
"I want to preserve as many homes filled with precious memories as possible."
We are tackling this challenge by systematizing our business and using AI to reduce costs, and by fairly rewarding the skilled carpenters who do the work.
Together with reassuring partners including "evoltz Corporation," we will provide high-quality seismic reinforcement at accessible prices,
and protect your lives and the homes that matter to you.
